Police arrested three people overnight following a pair of high-speed chases through Tulsa.

Police say their helicopter first spotted an Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper chasing a Dodge Dart and GMC Denali SUV down Highway 169.

The vehicles split up and the trooper continued chasing the car while Tulsa Police picked up the chase on the SUV.

The Dodge Dart eventually got away from the trooper. The car was found abandoned and the occupants had run away.

Officers chased the SUV until it crashed into a parked near near 36th and South Garnett.

Three suspects bolted from the car. Officers found two hiding in a tree and another was in a shed. All were taken into custody.

Police say both vehicles were stolen out of Broken Arrow.

It's unclear if they are connected to a string of auto burglaries late Sunday and Monday, when six vehicles were stolen in several neighborhoods.
