VINITA, Okla. — Vinita police arrested a man after they were notified about a Facebook post that threatened acts against an elementary school and the Craig County Courthouse.
Ethan Charles was questioned after they were notified of a Facebook post around 8 a.m. He later was arrested for on two complaints of terrorist threats.
On Facebook, a post attributed to Charles said (spelling errors left intact):
"OMG,, i swear if it wasnt for Crystal methamphetamines.. i would of already,, pulled a Columbine at will rogers [elementary school],,, i would of Timothy McVayed the courthouse.. an deff would of jeffery Dommmered his b----h,,,, like call me Charles Sheen,,, but if you dont do crystal meth,, we cant be friends,,,,PERIOD,., family included"
Police said the school went on lockdown for about 30 minutes, and they notified the school around 8:41 a.m. to let them know Charles was in custody.
