The state attorney general's office is announcing the recipients of the "Safe Oklahoma Grant Program" on Tuesday afternoon.
Attorney General Mike Hunter, along Mayor GT Bynum, will be making the announcement at the 600 Civic Center at 1 p.m.
This year's recipients include the Tulsa Police Department, Broken Arrow Police Department and Wagoner County Sheriff's Office. A representative from each agency will be at the meeting to explain how the department plans to use the funds.
The goal of the grant is to help law enforcement agencies with additional resources to reduce violent crime. The program was established in 2012 and is funded by the state legislature.
