TULSA, Okla. - The fourth annual Flight Night fundraiser in Tulsa is taking place at the Jones Riverside Airport this Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
Organizers say the money raised will go into programs that focus in the STEM fields, which are science, technology, math and engineering.
Thursday's event will recognize four educators for their "outstanding excellence and leadership" in STEM education.
Since 2014, the charity event has raised more than $1.3 million for the Tulsa Regional STEM Alliance and Fab Lab Tulsa, and has impacted more than 100,000 students.
Tonight's event will include an air demonstration, dinner and live auction. 2 Works for You news evening anchor, Karen Larsen, will emcee the event again this year.
