TULSA — The City of Tulsa is reshaping its plans to expand the Gilcrease Museum.
Officials say a task force overseeing the project recently inspected the decades-old building to see if it would support further renovations.
They voted to tear down the existing building after further review and build a new facility in its place.
The rebuild will provide more gallery space and accommodate travel exhibits, officials say.
Design and construction are expected to be a four year long process.
