The Tulsa Health Department has new traps to help catch mosquitoes that could carry the Zika virus.
According to Scott Meador, the vector control program coordinator, the department has started setting these new traps across town.
Thursday night, the traps caught several mosquito samples, but they need to be tested.
Meador says they'll be setting up more starting next week.
He advises residents to get rid of standing water now that the weather is getting warmer, and we'll start seeing more mosquitoes.
