TFD: Two dogs die in north Tulsa house fire early Friday morning

TULSA — According to Tulsa Fire Department, firefighters responded to an early morning house fire near West Apache Street and North Cheyenne Avenue that claimed the lives of two dogs.

TFD says the main body of the fire was located in the garage.

When TFD arrived. they say the house had heavy smoke and flames.

The kids had already left for school and the mother was able to get out safely, TFD says.

TFD says two dogs died, one dog is being treated and the fourth dog is safe and with the owner.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
