TULSA — Tulsa fire said a passing driver called 911 around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday when they saw a car drive off southbound Highway 169, off the exit ramp, and down a ravine into the water.
Tulsa Fire says the black SUV was immediately submerged, and possibly carried away by the current.
It's unknown how many people were in the vehicle - or what's happened to it since.
A firefighter says the water could be as deep as 15-20 feet.
Rescue teams have taken over the search along the stream up to 5 miles away.
"Keep your eye on the road, out your mobile devices down, we would hate for anyone else to get... endangered in this," TFD PIO Andy Little said.
Rescue crews are doing their best to find any signs of the SUV, but it could take the water receding for them to find anything.
Again there is no sign of the car or any occupants right now.
