The Tulsa Rowing Club loses boats and equipment in a fire at their boathouse.
The flames broke out around 10 p.m. last night in the TRC's boathouse in west Tulsa.
The Tulsa Fire Department says about one third of their equipment, which includes expensive boats, was destroyed. Also, about 60% of the building was damaged.
It took firefighters about one hour to put out the flames.
They are investigating the cause, but they believe the fire started inside the building.
The TRC's boathouse is the club's homesite, which was dedicated in 1991, according to its website.
They have more than 100 members who use the equipment and boats to practice for their competitions.
