TULSA — The Tulsa Fire Department crew will be spending a lot of time at Tulsa Public Schools this week to change behaviors and save lives.
TFD says they hope to encourage conversations with these children that lead to plans with their families.
Officials say, they understand that the way to influence and make a change, is the children.
This year’s theme is “Not Every Hero Wears A Cape. Plan and Practice your Escape,” officials say.
TFD held a poster contest, and say they will be announcing the winners from the contest this week.
TFD says the prize for each grade involved (3rd, 4th, and 5th grades) is a ride to school in a fire truck.
