TULSA — Tulsa Fire Department is investigating the cause of what sent smoke into the halls of First United Methodist Church at 11th and Boulder.
They were investigating a report of smoke in the building.
A call came in about smoke coming from the fitness and sports area, TFD says.
There were also reports of an electrical smell.
Tulsa Fire Department says they eventually found the cause was an overheating heating unit on the roof.
TFD says the smoke traveled throughout the building through the air ducts.
