TULSA — A teenager who's been accused of murdering a Broken Arrow teacher and raping an elderly woman is now facing two additional counts of assault.
On April 12, while being held in detention at 300 North Denver, police say 17-year-old Deonte Green was being escorted back to his housing unit. While in the hallway, Green punched another inmate in the back of the back, causing the other inmate to have a contusion on the back of his neck, according to a police report.
A police report said Green also struck a detention officer in his lower abdomen during the incident.
In March, Green withdrew his blind guilty plea in connection with the rape and murder.
Green was arrested in October 2017 for shooting and killing BA middle school teacher Shane Anderson in front of his two daughters and raping an 81-year-old woman.
