The Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office has released the name of the inmate who died Saturday at the David L. Moss Criminal Justice Center.
Deputies say a jail employee found 54-year-old Danny Watters unresponsive during a routine security check around 4:30 p.m.
They say medical staff tried to revive him but they were not successful.
Deputies say there did not appear to be any signs of trauma. They are waiting for an autopsy report from the Medical Examiner’s Office.
TCSO says the inmate’s death is under investigation.
