TULSA — The Salvation Army of Tulsa is already working to make Christmas bright for thousands of Tulsa families this holiday season.
Detention Officer Cadets with the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office will be dedicating their community service project to help the Salvation Army for this year's "Angel Tree" program.
The community service project is a valuable part of the Detention Officer Academy, and the purpose is to give the cadets a sense of service to their community.
The cadets will be volunteering this morning, October 28, at the Salvation Army warehouse, distributing gifts to families in need from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
