TULSA – A Tulsa County detention officer could possibly be charged with public officer’s willful neglect to perform duty after allegedly allowing inmates to engage in fights.
Tulsa County Sheriff Regalado sent a statement Thursday saying that Marc Moncrief was terminated from his position as a detention officer.
Regalado’s statement went on to say that “The Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office will not tolerate this kind of conduct by our staff. We took swift action in terminating this employee as soon as the allegations were substantiated. We also presented our finding to the Tulsa County DA’s Office for possible criminal charges.”
