Suspect arrested in Adair County after double shooting

ADAIR COUNTY, Okla. -- Deputies with the Adair County Sheriff's Office have arrested a man after two people were shot Wednesday morning in a gated community.

The shooting was reported by the Sheriff's Office in the Illinois River ranch area. OSBI says a man and a woman were shot and the man's truck (pictured below) was stolen.

The suspect was identified as Julian Osage, 28. Osage had a felony warrant out for his arrest for shooting with intent to kill and assault and battery with a deadly weapon.

He was located after authorities received a tip about his whereabouts.

Both victims were flown to a hospital in Arkansas. Those victims are in critical conditions, authorities said.
