TAHLEQUAH, Okla. -- Tahlequah police are investigating after a woman was found dead Tuesday.
The woman was found dead at about 9:50 a.m. in the 700 block of East Downing. Police said she had visible injuries.
Officers on scene determined that the death was suspicious and the death is being investigated as a homicide at this time.
Two people who were at the residence have been detained.
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has been called in to investigate the death.
