TULSA — A woman accused of stabbing her 11-year-old daughter dozens of times, trying to set her house in fire and causing an Amber Alert for her other daughter, made a blind plea during a court appearance on Tuesday.

Detectives said Ahmad initially confessed to gagging her three girls and duct-taping them inside her house. Detectives said she also confessed to stabbing one of her daughters and hitting her in the head with a pick axe.

Police said Ahmad did it because she didn't like the way her daughters were reading.
