TULSA — Officials with Tacos 4 Life, an Arkansas-grown taco restaurant with a mission to fight world hunger, opens its first Oklahoma location in Tulsa today.

"World Hunger claims the lives of thousands of children every single day and Tacos 4 Life exists to solve this problem," said Daniel Hastings, store leader for Tacos 4 Life Tulsa. "I am honored to serve as store leader of the Tulsa location, and together with the amazing people of Tulsa, we can wage war on world starvation through our Meal 4 Meal program. I am excited to serve high quality food and top-notch service to the city of Tulsa, and to eradicate world hunger one taco at a time."

Officials say the new Tacos 4 Life Tulsa store is located at 10732 South Memorial Drive Drive.

Officials say for every taco, quesadilla, salad, rice bowl or nachos sold, Taco 4 Life donates $0.24 to Feed My Starving Children. The $0.24 is the equivalent to the cost of one meal for a hungry child.

This is the fifth state to expand to and the 16th store opening, officials say.
