TULSA — Officials with Tacos 4 Life, an Arkansas-grown taco restaurant with a mission to fight world hunger, has announced Thursday the opening of its first Oklahoma location in Tulsa.

Officials say the restaurant will open on Oct. 25.

"It is a special accomplishment for our team when we have the opportunity to bring our brand and mission to a new state," said Austin Samuelson, co-founder of Tacos 4 Life. "We are honored to continue spreading our meal for meal concept across the country. Tulsa will have the opportunity to change many children's lives while enjoying some great food."

Officials say the new Tacos 4 Life Tulsa store will be located at 10732 Memorial Drive.

Officials say for every taco, quesadilla, salad, rice bowl or nachos sold, Taco 4 Life donates $0.24 to Feed My Starving Children. The $0.24 is the equivalent to the cost of one meal for a hungry child.

This is the fifth state to expand to and the 16th store opening, officials say.
