OKLAHOMA COUNTY -- A syphilis outbreak in Oklahoma County could be the largest in modern state history.

The state health department said the number of those affected is up to 80. Officials said the people affected are connected to a "specific social network," which means a group of people who spend time together.

The health department is offering free testing to anyone who thinks they may have been exposed.

The Sexually Transmitted Disease can cause infertility, still-births and damage to organs.
