CLAREMORE, Okla. — Swan Bros. Dairy, Inc. of Claremore, Oklahoma is recalling its raw milk products after the detection of Campylobacter jejuni, according to the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry.
Officials are urging consumers to dispose of any products purchased or received between April 9 and June 22.
The list of recalled items include:
- raw whole milk
- raw 2% milk
- raw skim milk
- raw heavy cream
Symptoms of campylobacteriosis include:
- diarrhea
- abdominal cramps
- fever
- nausea
- vomiting
Most people with camplylobacteriosis recover completely, officials said. The illness is usually mild and some people have no symptoms at all.
