Suzanne Stephens celebrated her 100th birthday on July 8th, a celebration was held today to commemorate her military service and for her community to wish her a happy birthday.
She is a member of the Knittin' Kittens, a group that meets regularly to knit hats, scarves, and blankets for those in need.
Suzanne received a commendation from Governor Stitt as well.
She received over two hundred birthday cards from friends, family, and even strangers thanking her for her service and wishing her a happy birthday.
During her military service, Suzanne was an airplane mechanic in the Navy WAVES during WWII.
