An SUV ended up crashing into the side of a building at a Sand Springs apartment complex.

Sand Springs Police responded to the Gable Hills Apartments at 7702 West Parkway Blvd. early Thursday morning.

Officers say a silver SUV swerved to avoid hitting an oncoming car that was driving without headlights. The SUV veered into the side of a building. Police say the other car drove away.

The vehicle ended up hitting power meters, which knocked out power to several buildings in the complex. PSO's outage map showed 25 customers without electricity overnight.

Two adults and three children were inside the SUV that crashed. No injuries were reported.

Police say they didn't make any arrests and the crash didn't displace anyone in the apartments.
