TULSA -- A woman wanted for murder out of Oklahoma City was arrested in Tulsa Tuesday.
Last week, detectives received information that Sumeika Byrd, 30, was in Tulsa. Detectives confirmed that Byrd was wanted for the 2015 murder of Brendon Turner, 28.
According to police, Turner was stabbed multiple times. In June of 2015, Oklahoma County issued a warrant for the arrest of Byrd.
Tulsa Police Warrant Squad were notified and along with agents from the Northern Oklahoma Violent Crimes Task Force arrested Byrd Tuesday.
