TULSA -- A suspect was shot and killed in an officer-involved shooting in midtown Tulsa on Tuesday morning.
The shooting was reported after 8 a.m. at 4500 East 8th Street, near 8th and Toledo.
The man who was killed was identified as Shaunday Mullins, 37.
The shooting happened as officers were serving a 'high-risk' warrant. Police said the man at the home would not come out.
Two adults, one man and a woman, were in the home when the standoff began. The children were let out of the home.
Officers said Mullins came out of the home and fired shots, then officers returned fire and hit the man, who was an ex-convict and had drugs and firearms in the home.
Neighbors said the neighborhood is quiet, but the home has been a hot spot for noise, crowds of cars, and people coming and going late in the night.
