TULSA — According to Tulsa police, a victim who was shot in the torso on Dec. 23 has died.
Police responded to a shooting near 31st and Garnett and learned the suspect, Germaine Cooper, shot Jannai Simien.
Police say Cooper was already identified and arrested for the shooting with the intent to kill.
Jannai Simien died from his injuries in the hospital on Jan. 12.
Police say Cooper's charges have been amended to first-degree murder.
