TULSA -- A man was arrested in Broken Arrow after a standoff early Tuesday morning.

Broken Arrow Police say a woman came to the police station around 8 a.m. Tuesday saying her boyfriend, Tyler Paulsen, 35, physically assaulted her at a home on 45th Street and 214th East Avenue Monday night.

The victim said the Paulsen was intoxicated, so she waited for him to pass out before going to police.

Police say they received information that the Paulsen had multiple firearms inside the home.

Police arrived at the home just after 8 in the morning Monday and set up a perimeter. Police say Paulsen surrendered at 11:30 Tuesday morning without incident.

Paulsen was booked into the Wagoner County Jail for domestic assault and battery.
