JENKS, Okla. – Surveillance footage of a couple allegedly shoving bottles of wine in their bags is now garnering attention on social media.
The owner of Biergarten Wine and Spirits in Jenks says the video, shown in the player above, shows a man and a woman walking out of the store with the stolen goods.
The man is carrying two bottles of wine in a basket -- when the woman grabs them, puts them in her purse and then walks out of the store.
Ian Sproul, the owner says “Stealing from a local liquor store is like stealing from a local family, we are not a corporation.”
On Facebook, the owner says he might start making customers leave oversized purses at the counter.
