JENKS, Okla. – Students and teachers were brought back into their original classroom after Tulsa fire crews cleared a gas leak.
Jenks Public Schools confirmed Friday morning that a gas leak was found at Jenks West Elementary.
The 3rd and 4th grade teachers and students in the affected area were initially taken to the school’s gym and cafeteria. Later they were taken to another building, Building A, at Jenks West.
Tulsa fire crews gave the all-clear after searching for the source of the leak.
