TULSA -- Several students at a Tulsa elementary school were trapped in an elevator after a power outage Tuesday morning.
Tulsa's Sequoyah Elementary School says two students were stuck in an elevator after a power outage at the school.
The Public Service Company of Oklahoma says they were notified of three outages Tuesday morning after several cars hit poles on Yale Avenue.
According to the school, staff responded immediately and called the Tulsa Fire Department to open the elevator.
The students were stuck in the elevator for about 15 minutes. All power to the elementary school has been restored.
