Multiple witnesses tell 2 Works for You a student fell from the top of Broken Arrow's Memorial Stadium after the football game with Jenks.
Broken Arrow Public Schools spokesman Charlie Hannema told 2 Works for You a student suffered injuries after the game. He said paramedics took him to a hospital. The student later died from his injuries.
The Broken Arrow Police Department issued a short statement, confirming a student fell from the top of the stadium. Officers say they responded to the stadium along with firefighters just before 10 PM Friday. Someone attempted rescue efforts on the student until EMS arrived to take him to the hospital.
Officers are withholding the student's name until family receives notification.
A prayer meeting for the family also took place today.
