STROUD, Okla. — The City of Stroud is remembering a firefighter who died after a car wreck this week.

Stroud honored Michael "Cole" Alcorn with a procession through town.

Alcorn was badly injured in a wreck Monday night on the Turner Turnpike.

His fellow firefighters worked to pull him from the car, and rushed him to the hospital, but he passed away Thursday.

Alcorn has a daughter and a son on the way.

A GoFundMe account has been set up for his family here.
