When World War II Veteran Herman White died earlier this month, he had no family or close friends.
The turnout at his funeral shows a different story.
Herman Augusta White died earlier this month at 97-years-old.
Herman White had no money or next of kin to arrange a proper funeral.
What started out as a call from the funeral home to a Navy recruiter in Oklahoma City, turned into a Facebook post calling for help.
The funeral included a dove release, bagpipes, letters from the Governor, a Navy Admiral, and the President.
Rebecca Raines, the funeral director, tells us "I want it to be what every World War II veteran, what any veteran of any war in the United States deserves."
