Steve Ripley, of band 'The Tractors,' dies at 69

Steve Ripley, Oklahoman and band leader from the country rock band "The Tractors," died Thursday at the age of 69.

Ripley, from Pawnee County, was also known for his 19-year ownership of The Church Studio in Tulsa.

Ripley played guitar with Bob Dylan, Leon Russell, Roy Clark among others.

He died peacefully at his home after dealing with an illness, his family said. Services for Ripley will be announced at a later date.
