Bates Trial: Jury finds Robert Bates guilty

TULSA – After deliberations the jury has found ex- Tulsa County reserve deputy Robert Bates guilty and recommends sentence of four years in prison.

Bates is accused of fatally shooting an unarmed suspect, Harris, during an undercover operation. According to Bates, he mistook his Taser for his gun.
