MAYES COUNTY, Okla. -- State Highway 20 westbound has reopened near Pryor on Thursday morning after a deadly two-vehicle crash.

The head-on crash between the driver of a Ford F-150 and the driver of a Ford Fusion was reported at 9:52 a.m. at Highway 20 and NS 429, which is about two miles west of Pryor.

Officials said each vehicle was occupied by one person. Both of those individuals were killed.

Those killed were identified as Gary Scott, 73, of Pryor, and Ofelia Chavoya, 21, of Pryor.

An Oklahoma Highway Patrol report said Scott, who was driving the F-150, went left of center for an unknown reason while driving eastbound on SH-20 and struck Chavoya head-on.

The roadway was closed for three hours.
