State health officials report 450 new cases of coronavirus Thursday

On Thursday, the Oklahoma State Department of Health announced 450 new cases of COVID-19, setting a record for the highest single-day increase in the state.

There are now a total of 9,354 confirmed cases of coronavirus in the state and two additional deaths, according to OSDH officials. A total of 7,071 Oklahomans have recovered from the virus.

The health department typically releases their daily update before noon, but officials said there was a delay on Thursday due to technical difficulties.
