TULSA - Police are investigating after a stabbing victim was involved in a car crash in Tulsa Saturday morning.

Police say two family members were taking a man to the hospital after he was stabbed at a birthday party near East Pine Street and North Lansing Avenue.

On the way to the hospital, police say the driver rear-ended another vehicle that was stopped at a red light.

The driver attempted to leave the scene of the accident before police found him and took him to the hospital. Police say the man suffered from a broken foot and minor head injury.

The stabbing victim was also taken to the hospital for treatment.
