Sperry Public Schools is closed Friday due to a power outage.
The Superintendent said the transportation director discovered the outage Friday morning.
PSO officials confirm a bypass switch failed, but they don't know the reason for the failure.
School officials decided to cancel classes for the day because PSO said they will not be able to restore power until 11a.m. Friday.
