A south Tulsa tennis center will receive a national award.
The Case Tennis Center at LaFortune Park will receive the United States Tennis Association's highest honor as its 2018 Featured Facility, United States Tennis Association announced Wednesday.
"The award recognizes excellence in the construction and renovation of tennis facilities throughout the country," the USTA said.
The award will be presented in New York City August 30.
“Great tennis facilities like the Case Tennis Center help us to grow the game at the grass-roots level, and we are proud to recognize them for their ongoing impact on the sport of tennis,” said Kurt Kamperman, Chief Executive, USTA National Campus. “The Case Tennis Center has embraced many of our tennis initiatives and kept the sport at the forefront of its community each year.”
