TULSA, Okla. — Residents at the Silver Sands Luxury Living apartments said they've been looking at piles of trash in their parking lot for weeks.

The issue isn't people throwing trash in the parking lot. The complex has four clearly marked waste management dumpsters. They told 2 Works for You the issue is those dumpsters are full and not being emptied.

They said the trash brings flies during the day and at night, raccoons and possums crawl into the dumpsters, leaving a trail of trash.

Amy Dacus has lived in the complex for almost two years.

“I mean it’s like they don’t care about their tenants and something’s got to be done,” Dacus said.

2 Works for You tried reaching the property manager, however, the number is disconnected.

After our story aired on Monday, residents were please to find the trash picked up from Silver Sands Luxury apartment dumpsters.
