Soup's on at the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma.

On Thursday, volunteers handed out frozen soup, meals and disaster boxes to people in need.

Volunteers said the demand for help is still needed.

"There's a lot of families out there struggling, and it's quite obvious when they come through here that they all really appreciate it and get really excited. You know, about a lot of the things that some of us take for granted like fresh fruit and gallons of milk. They are just so excited to receive those type of things," said Kevin Legleiter, a volunteer with the Food Bank.

The Food Bank is doing this drive-thru food pickup about twice a month.

You do have to pre-register on the Food Bank's website beforehand.
