Small business are being affected all across Oklahoma, but one person is stepping up to help change that.

Bo Wright is a small business owner that is trying to pay it forward during these hard times.

He started a fundraiser called The 20 for 20 Project with the goal of helping twenty small business owners across the state.

Wright tells us after watching small business struggle to stay afloat was when he decided to start the fundraiser.

Every day a new business will be highlighted, like Livylus's a vintage and fresh design clothing store.

They are accepting public donations of any amount of money; Wright's goal is one hundred thousand dollars.

“These mom and pop diners and these little shops and these little t-shirt shops and novelty shops. Places that you take for granted, you drive by them everyday. They are doing everything they can to get people in the doors. They are keeping the community, the community" Wright says.

Wright says he's doing it because he feels small business are the backbone of America; and without them we wouldn't make it.
