SKIATOOK, Okla. – A precautionary lockdown was issued Thursday afternoon at Skiatook Public Schools after social media threat caused concern.
The school posted on Facebook saying they were tagged in a threatening post.
Skiatook police posted as well saying that while the school was not directly addressed in the threat, the modified lockdown was issued just in case.
Due to the lockdown, the school says students will be dismissed around 3:05 p.m. but parents will have to come to the front entrance to pick up their kids. According to police, buses would be running as normal.
