A Green Country family is celebrating a new addition and along with him– six living generations.
Hayden Perkins was born just one week ago to Brianna Perkins. Gladys Geren, 97, is Hayden's great great-great-grandmother. All six generations of Oklahomans still live in and around Green Country.
They've had five generations of the family tree living through a few of Gladys' children. But once they realized the sixth was on the way, they were eager for the rare distinction.
"We were kind of worried about getting this done with mom still having mom here because she's not been in very good health lately," said Donna Hayes, great great-grandmother.
