Storytime before bed is a special time for many children.
But, not every child has someone to read to them.
So a pair of sisters in Delaware decided to help by using their social media skills to make a big difference.
9-year-old Hailey Willard is one half of 'Zaria and Hailey'.
Like most kids their age, they're social media savvy, maybe even a little obsessed with sharing a good book.
"Today I'll be reading a very very fun book, "The Llamacorn is Kind!" says Hailey.
14-year-old Zaria Willard says, "We noticed a lot of kids don't have the opportunity to be read to, or they can't read to themselves because their parents are busy or working, so we decided to do it for them."
The sisters converted their playroom to a library.
A laptop, a cell phone, and a Facebook page later, now these Delaware sisters have more than 14 thousand people from all over the globe following along.
Hailey isn't at all surprised saying "I'm very likable...I read with excitement."
"People always comment and say we love when you read we try to watch you every night," Zaria says.
Facebook Live Storytime is every night at 7 p.m. Central Time.
Whether it's Zaria or Hailey turning the pages, you can expect to hear personality and passion.
"I can get lost in the book, and I can feel like im inside the book and I really like that part," Hailey says.
If there's one thing they hope their story time will accomplish, it's this, "Encourage them to read," Hailey says, "And then they'll have a big imagination like me."
For those who are struggling, Hailey says, "They should start with the small books then go to the big books."
Zaria says, "It gets easier over time, just have to keep trying."
No matter what your reading level is, you'll find a friend right here.
Hailey says, "Thank you for watching, we appreciate your support and I'll see you guys later, love you guys, bye bye."
