TULSA -- Former employees of a south Tulsa dental clinic, Signature Smiles, are facing more charges.
As patients come forward with tales of botched dental work, doctor Bert Franklin's office remains closed.
Tuesday, 2 Works for You learned of at least one other dental assistant, Sadie Hight, who is accused of falsifying narcotics prescriptions.
Court documents allege she forged prescriptions for hydrocodone and ultram at Franklin's and another clinic.
Tuesday, prosecutors filed felony charges for alleged fraud totaling $80,000 for Bert Franklin. The documents say Franklin charged a woman's American Express card the money without her permission two months before he allegedly murdered 19-month-old Lincoln Lewis.
The charges come after 34-year-old Paige Maples was charged for unlawfully repairing dentures at Signature Smiles. The Oklahoma Board of Dentistry says Maples never had a dentist license.
