TULSA--Thank you for your donations to our 2 Cares for the Community toy drive. Sunday was a big day for children from across Green Country. The Akdar Shriners held a big Christmas celebration and handed out gifts.

Every child who was served by the Shriners this year were invited to the party. They and their siblings got to talk with Santa. They were each given a stocking full of goodies and some fruit. While the children attended the party, their parents got to "shop" in the toy room for gives to give on Christmas morning.

The Akdar Shrine is committed to providing the best care for children in the specialty areas of orthopedics, burn care, spinal cord Injury, and cleft lip and palate, regardless of a family’s ability to pay. They transport pediatric patients from Tulsa-area hospitals to Shriners Hospitals for Children all over the country.
