Sheriff: Woman dies while hunting for arrowheads in Osage County

OSAGE COUNTY — The Osage County Sheriff's Office said in a news release that a woman fell over a cliff over the weekend while hunting for arrowheads.

Officials said 51-year-old Glenda Dee Olsen died when she fell 40 to 50 feet from a cliff while searching for arrowheads.

Deputies said the accident occurred on County Road 5511 and CR 5407 in rural Hominy on Sunday at approximately 8 p.m.

Olsen was with friends and family when the accident happened, officials said.

Deputies said Olsen misstepped and lost her balance - no foul play is suspected.
